Why it is kept separate
- Accreditation certificate GAC-IB-0299 covers only the areas of construction inspection — valuation is not included in it.
- Valuation is governed by other rules and its result is not an inspection conclusion.
- Before inspection and valuation are provided simultaneously for the same facility, we assess the risk of a conflict of interest.

The purpose of the valuation may be a transaction, revaluation of fixed assets, insurance, pledge, liquidation of a business or another need. The purpose is agreed in advance, as it determines the valuation approach.
