What a Type A inspection body is
We are accredited by the LEPL Unified National Accreditation Body — Accreditation Centre, in accordance with the requirements of standard ISO/IEC 17020:2012/2013.

Important clarification
ISO/IEC 17020 sets out the requirements for the inspection body with regard to competence, impartiality and consistent performance. This is not a technical standard for a building or structure and is not issued in respect of a facility. The conformity of a facility is assessed separately — according to the applicable regulations, construction norms, the approved design and the technical requirements.

What we work for
Our aim is to establish the practice of independent inspection in the construction process in Georgia — where conformity is confirmed not by an interested party, but by a third, independent body.
